I don't disagree, but Boston came damn close to doing this about a week ago. But generally, yes, unless the goalie is a world-class, can't-miss guy, stay away in round 1.

Edit: I'm really happy for Ron Hainsey. He seems like a good dude, and as a player, he'll try his best to do whatever's asked of him, and that does have some value. But man, he's hard to watch, but it was cool to see him gets the Cup.

I think it's a fair deal, BUT the Penguins most glaring weakness is defense. Trading their top defenseman, IMO, is a terrible idea right now.

Cap wouldnt work if it was those 3 for Tang and JJ....13.45 mill for those 3...I cant see Montreal doing that anyways.

They could just buy out Shea Weber.

Yeah I could see if they had space to go after a UFA D after maybe....but they wouldnt unless they shed more cap somewhere else...
